Good for a few nights. Easy in and out. Fuel and eating places very close by. Only bad thing is the train noise. Strong Verizon signal. Several TV stations. Would stay here again for sure.
Very easy in and out. Very friendly owners. Good Verizon cell phone and air card signal. Several TV stations. Many very large shade trees but they are not in the way. Would for sure stay here again.
Very friendly owners and it was easy in and out of this park. Has flat, level pull-through as well as back-in sites. There are fuel stations and cafes near by. It's close to I-80 however road noise was not very noticable. Would sure stay here again.
Well maintained park. Friendly people in the office. Some sites have trees hanging into the sites. Can be difficult to miss tree limbs. It seems that most trees in parks do not get trimmed. Would stay here again.
If you get the right site you will have a good view. Many sites have trees that will be up against your rig. One full day before we departed, we asked the gal behind the desk if someone could maybe cut 3-4 limbs. She acted like I had slapped her. No one came by to do that. Only because no one was parked on the site behind us was we able to back out. Cafe on site was very good food with large potions. Rather price as is everything in St. Mary, Mt. There is a KOA across the road. If we visit the area again we would stay at the KOA which has far fewer trees and more level sites. Of course, when you check into a KOA we know KOA stands for keep on adding.
Owners were very friendly and helpful, and the park well cared for. Great location if you are touring the area including the Grand Coulee Dam. Sites on the hill are easy in and out and roomy enough. Rather dusty, but it is a desert area. They do water down the main road. Would stay here again for sure.
This campground is listed in the Passport America directory and lists a fee of $16.00 per night. The nice lady told me it would be $18.00. I asked why. Her reply was the boss told her to charge PPA $18.00, which included $2.00 for a/c and/or electric heat. I explained I was not going to use either. Her reply was that the boss says that all campers say they will not use it, but they always do. I told her that the boss has never seen me, and yet he is calling me a dishonest liar. I paid the $18.00. It seems to me the boss is the dishonest one. He clearly advertises one price but charges another. The campground has folks staying there long term, including 2 tenters. In one word it is a dump. No, we will never stay there again. The campground has small crowded sites. Trash is everywhere.
